He said: Very light dark fruit aromas. Smooth fruit taste that is so intense it could be mistaken as sweet, but it’s dry with a nice soft mouth-feel. A lingering finish that’s dry, full of flavor and slightly bitter at the very end. For only $4.72 this is an OUTSTANDING value for a VERY drinkable, food friendly, red wine. It’s also a great example of a “Box Wine” you will not find in every grocery store; but it’s a value that is worth some effort to find if you are in the market for this type of wine.
She said: If there is a aroma I can not smell it, but it does have a definite fruity taste that almost leads to a sweet flavor. With a medium body and pleasant tannins it went well with both dinners but more so with the rotisserie chicken. At this price you can’t do better. This is very drinkable wine at a bargain price.
