He said: Opened 30 minutes before tasting. Dark ruby color with a light rim. Strong earthy aromas. Smooth, dry fruit taste and a medium long STRONG earthy fruit finish. Pretty good, and with a “rich”, full flavor and just a tad of delicious tartness in the finish. The earth in the bouquet was EXACTLY like the taste in the finish…wow. The Row Eleven Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2009 was good, but I REALLY liked this Row Eleven Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir 2007.
