He said: Served Chilled (opened and out of the refrigerator 20 minutes before drinking). Strong oak and vanilla aromas. Creamy and buttery with just the right amount of crispness in the taste. Smooth and a tad tart medium-length finish. Not complex; but excellent “old fashion” Chardonnay. Our fish dinner was perfect with this characteristic oaked California Chardonnay. I would strongly recommend this Chardonnay and at $8.99 would say it’s a bargain wine.
She said: If you like oakey flavor you will love this wine and it was divine with the fish, not wo much with the spinach. The vanilla oakey bouquet disappeared with time but remained strong on the palate through out the dinner. The creaminess and succulent taste lasted into the medium long finish and took a mundane dinner to a higher level. I love the wine and strongly recommend it as a bargain wine.
