Tasting:

Slightly chilled before drinking. Clear, almost colorless, with just the slightest oat straw tint. Quite aromatic with abundant green apple, pear, wet store and citrus aromas. Wonderful smooth entry, slightly off dry, substantial fresh mouthfeel, medium body and a 100-grit texture. Nice apple, lemon and honey flavors. Abundant crisp acidity and a long apple and herb finish. Nothing to write home about, but with a nice bouquet, fresh tastes and a little sweet. If your buying Chenin Blanc from the grocery store shelves this is probably a pretty good value. We called it a “not bad” Chenin Blanc from the Loire Valley that was VERY inexpensive.
