Tasting:

Opened one hour before drinking. Opaque, dark garnet and purple color with a lighter purple rim. Noteworthy damp earth, dark cherry and ripe plum aromas. Explosive, enticing and charismatic mouthfeel, medium body and an 80-grit texture. Tart cherry, rich juicy plum and a foretaste of peppery spice. Medium acidity gives it just the right freshness, grippy yet quite fine-grained tannins and a medium length bitter plum, licorice and peppery finish that was so captivating you were seduced to take another sip. Although lacking layers of flavors it had a delicious juicy plum taste that gave it a bewitching character. We thought it paired well with the diverse food flavors and said it was remarkably good Malbec.
