Opened one hour before drinking. Just opaque, garnet/purple color with a slightly lighter rim. Quite aromatic musty raspberry, cherry and plum aromas. Smooth entry, juicy, slightly dusty and filling mouthfeel, medium body and a 200-grit texture. Ripe raspberry, boysenberry, cherry and pomegranate fruit flavors with just a nip of peppery spice at the end of every sip. Medium, well balanced acidity, soft tannins and a long very fruity finish. WOW, what an easy drinking, silky smooth and fruity red wine. Light on tannins, but freshness and ripe fruit taste abound. We called it fruity red wine you want to gulp. It was perfect for our weeknight patio supper and should appeal to a large group of wine drinkers.
