Opened one hour before drinking. Very strong damp earth, plum and strawberry aromas. Smooth, zesty and fresh mouthfeel, quite light bodied and a 150-grit texture. Tart cherry, raspberry, ripe plum, strawberry and peppery spice flavors. Prominent bright acidity, smooth, soft and well integrated tannins that did show some grip in the very long bitter fruit finish. An interesting aftertaste too, with just enough spice to really gave it prolonged fascination and anticipation for the next sip. It’s an EXCELLENT value and an OUTSTANDING summer sipper. We called it mild, easy drinking and strongly recommend it.
