Opened and decanted one hour before drinking. Opaque, inky dark garnet color with the same color rim. Rich and very earthy plum, blackberry and old wood aromas with just a hint of licorice. Smooth, very approachable and FANTASTIC fresh mouthfeel, medium to full body and a 200-grit texture. Fruity plum, blackberry and current with the slightest hint of peppery spice flavor. Well integrated bright acidity, silky tannins and a long slightly chewy plum and tobacco finish. WOW, WOW, WOW a unique Napa Cab that was rich and suave, but at the same time very fresh and weightless. It starts with a burst of California sunshine, but by mid-palate it’s Old World delicious. And, with the price’s of good Napa Cab’s this is a real BARGAIN. We called it a precocious and extraordinary Napa Cab that was very MEMORABLE.
