Tasting:
-
Chilled before drinking. Cloudy with an oat straw color tinted with orange. Strong sweet spices, tropical fruit and sweet Confederate Jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides) blossom aromas. Smooth, tart, slightly creamy and dusty mouthfeel, medium body and. 150-grit texture. Pineapple juice, honey, and apple flavors intertwined with a robust dusty mineral taste. Gobs of crisp acidity and a long tart finish that ends with a mouth filling lemon/mineral taste. Many people might be turned off by the cloudy appearance, but they shouldn’t, it was filled with a unique bouquet, taste and mouthfeel. OK it’s not your everyday wine, but it was OUTSTANDING paired with the curry dinner and we both commented that it was one of the most interesting sipping wines we’ve had in a long time. If your the least bit adventurous this is a wine you don’t want to miss out on. We said it was different, but fantastic.
