Served in a short glass with ice and a slice of squeezed lemon. Clear with a delicate green hue. A patchwork of aromas incluiding lemon, anise, lime peel, cardamom and coriander. Silky smooth mouthfeel, medium body and an 800-grit texture. Refreshing lemon, quinine tonic water and licorice flavors with just a touch of ginger. Crisp acidity and a long bitter and citrus finish. WOW, what a marvelous refreshing drink. It had the same abundance of bitters as the Berto Ross da Travaj Red Vermouth, but it was noticeably drier. This has the classic herbal tastes, but is vermouth with extra bitters. There was a tangy intensity we really liked and Vicky commented, “when comparing the Quaglia red and white Vermouth, the white was like eating grouper and the red like eating salmon”. This was a VERY delicious and FANTASTIC value white vermouth!!!
