Tasting:

He said: Clear ruby red color. Strong dark cherry and damp earth aromas. Rich dark berry taste that you can almost chew on…with a long dry, fruit finish. A delicious, fairly smooth Pinot Noir that I would buy again in a flash. VERY drinkable and a very reasonable Pinot Noir price/quality.

She said: Tasty wine with the salmon, good berry bouquet and flavor. Dry, with medium body and long finish featuring firm tannins. Nice Pinot but we compared it with a California Pinot and I liked it better (see below comment).

Comments: For this dinner we opened two bottles of Pinot Noir that cost the same price. And interesting enough, we both this one, but Vicky liked the Sonoma Hills Russian River Valley 2011 better.
