Tasting:
-
Chilled before drinking. Clear, oat straw color. Light aromas of melon, citrus and mineral. Ostentatious, dry, concentrated, medium body and a 150-grit texture. Explosive flavors of melon, lemon, tart tropical fruit, cocktail bitters and fresh baked bread, but with a strong underlying nutty taste from start to finish. Bracing bright acidity and a HUGH (in 120 point bold caps) powerful long bitter and peach tasting finish. Super paired with the basal pesto and grilled chicken, but equally good sipping with out food. An unusual grape that was VERY delicious and worth some extra effort to find. This was a very unimaginable wine.
