Chilled before opening. Light watermelon color. Strawberry and watermelon aromas. Smooth, MINERAL, medium body and a fine 400-grit texture. Easily identifiable ripe strawberry and watermelon flavors, fresh acidity and a long somewhat dry, dusty mineral finish. Excellent paired with the patio hot dogs and baked beans dinner. It may not have the finesse and elegant taste of similar priced Provence-style Rosé, but the ripe fruit flavors and dominant mineral core really gave it a sparkle and in the end it was delicious Rosè. In a nutshell we’d say it was wound pretty tight, but an EXCELLENT California Rosè that had an exceptionally good mineral character.
