He said: Dark purple/red color. Light dark cherry bouquet, very deep earthy taste with lots of ripe berry flavors, and medium earthy/dry finish. A pretty good balance of flavors, tannins and acid. Not a bargain, but it’s an okay inexpensive Rioja…and I love the strong earthy taste in the finish.
She said: Garnet color with slight tinge of brown; mild fruity bouquet and flavor with medium body and medium tannins. Dry with medium acidity and short finish with little flavor. A bit of lime juice made it delicious. Not bad but better Rioja’s available at this price
Comments: This is better than the Montebuena Rioja Cuvee 2010, but not as good a value.
