Tasting:

He said: Dark purple/red color. Mild fruit bouquet. Lots of dark fruit in the taste and a long earthy/dry finish. Nice balance, lots of fruit, a finish that goes on and on and hints of earth and spice. This wine went well with all the flavors of the dinner and was great sipping after the meal was done. At $10 it’s a bargain wine!!!

She said: Very tasty wine with each part of the dinner. Mild but fragrant bouquet followed by medium bodied, dry flavor with tannins lasting into the long finish. Oddly enough this wine was good with cabbage, tomato, garlic pasta, parmesan chicken, but not with chocolate or sharp cheddar so I would not serve it as a sipping wine with a cheese platter or with any dessert. To bad because it is a very nice wine and a bargain red at $10.
