He said: 1st Tasting: Dark purple/red color. Light ripe fruit bouquet. Intense dark fruit taste that really comes alive and full body that continues into the long finish with lots of nice lively acid and smoky hints. It’s an excellent value Spanish red at the $12.59. With Sharp cheddar cheese it was as smooth as silk. Absolutely wonderful!!!
2nd Tasting: VERY EASY DRINKING…I think the second bottle was better than the first and approaching a Quality wine at at a bargain price wine. Snap this up if you have the opportunity.
She said: Delicious from start to finish, with or without the dinner. Mild bouquet but tasty dark cherry, medium/full body and acidic finish with medium firm tannins. It improved over the course of the dinner and was REALLY GOOD with sharp cheddar cheese.
Comments: We first tasted this wine at a Wine Merchant Gourmet wine paring dinner. It was pared with Mushroom Duxelles in Puff Pastry with a Veal Demi glace…and was VERY good.
